Artist Statement - Puppets

Guided by an inner voice, my creative process has taken on a deep and profound meaning, especially in this puppetry installation dedicated to honoring civilian casualties and those who have endured the horrors of war, with a special focus on the conflict in Ukraine. This project, three years in the making, may evoke a powerful emotional response in people of all ages—bringing joy to a toddler, while moving an adult to tears.
